We are performing a transaction in which you are a buyer, seller or mortgagor of real estate. The Federal Financial Services Modernization Act, also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Regulations of the Federal Trace Commission and the Louisiana Department of Insurance require that we furnish you with our privacy policy. In the course of business, we collect non-public personal information (NPI) about you from the following sources:

Information received directly from you by phone, fax, text or email, such as your address, name, phone number, loan numbers, loan balances, social security numbers, dates of birth, marital status, places you have lived, and basic information about you and/ or your property;

We also receive information about your transaction from your lender, your real estate broker, your real estate agent, the pest inspection representative, surveyor, property inspector, your attorney or builder, homeowner's association, and insurance agent.

We do not disclose any NPI about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. Please be aware that your name, the last four digits of your social security number and your address will be of public record in the courthouse.

We restrict access to NPI about you to Experience Title Group, LLC, employees who have passed yearly background checks, and those involved in your transaction who need to know that information to provide the services requested by you, your real estate broker /agent or your lender.

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, that comply with appropriate federal and state regulations to guard your NPI.

In addition to Experience Title Group, LLC this privacy policy also applies to any underwriter of title insurance involved in your transaction, its agents and affiliates.
